See the changing of the guard at Prince's Palace at 11:55am, and view the Carabinieri Barracks in front of the palace. You can also check out the Neo-Romanesque cathedral, built out of white stones from La Turbie during the reign of Prince Charles III. Monaco's princes and princesses, including Grace Kelly, are laid to rest here. Other sights include Justice Palace and the Oceanographic Museum. (If desired, you can visit the inside of Prince's Palace (8€ per adult, 4€ per child) or the Oceanographic Museum (14€ per adult, 10€ per child), or enjoy a short Monaco tour on the visitor train; entrance fees and activities are at your own expense.)

Bad experience

The tour started off ok we made it to Eze and then Monaco however they do you off in an area strictly for tourists. The views were beautiful but it was all the same vendors/souvenir shops and restaurants. We were there for an hour and a half and certainly could’ve spent time somewhere else . The reason I booked this tour was more for Monte Carlo area and seeing the casino and walking around. We received a phone from our driver as we waited in Monaco only to say the van was taken by police. Other members on the tour left items on the van as we were assured they were safe. The tour group itself called us to say the driver got sick so there weee conflicting stories as to what really happened. We were then told a van could be out to us possibly in an hour. The 6 of us on the tour eventually found a taxi and had him drive us back to Cannes. It cost us 240€. The best part of the tour I missed and the tour ended sourly. Very disappointed. The guide himself was great.

Hello,
Our guide’s van was impounded while he stepped away briefly to buy a sandwich. Unfortunately, this led to the guide feeling unwell, and we had to arrange for a replacement guide. We promptly notified you about the situation and suggested to explore Monaco while waiting for the new guide. We explained that there would be about a one-hour delay but assured you that the tour would be extended to make up for the lost time. However, you decided to take a taxi back to Cannes without informing us.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Great Small Tour

We loved our guide Ben. He was very knowledgeable about history and especially getting around in very busy congested cities. He met all of our needs and the best part was there were only 5 of us on this trip. A must do with this company. Run by Liven-Up Very accommodating. Highly recommend ****

Rodrigue acted a taxi driver not a guide

I booked this trip based on the reviews and expected a private tour with a personal touch but instead got no more than 15 minutes of information from the guide during the whole day - and that was after asking 4-5 times for some detail about the places we were seeing.
Most of the time in the car Rodrigue was either silent or just talking to my husband quietly at the front so no one else could hear. He'd simply drop us to the key locations and tell us when and where to meet him afterwards.
We honestly could have saved money by hiring a car ourselves or using taxis. I didn't expect non stop conversation but feel like we left the tour with very little insight into the history of where we went - I could have googled what was covered.
At one point the "guide" told me he'd told us everything about Monoco and to tell him what I wanted to know.
The worst thing he was clearly knowledgeable and spoke great English - he simply didn't care enough about his job to share his knowledge to make the tour a good experience for us.
I've been on plenty of private and group tours and always tip and provide really positive reviews when I've had a good experience (which has been most of the time) but this was by far the worst tour I've ever been on.
Not cheap with 2 teenagers, a 4 year old, my husband and I but I thought it was worth getting a private tour to really make the most of our day - I think the other guides sound much better from the reviews so I think we just had very bad luck.
