Fun canyoning intro for sporty families

Very fun intro to canyoning for our family, with sons aged 12 and 14. Our guide Jean-Pierre made it feel challenging and safe for the whole group. We tried swimming, sliding, jumping, rapelling and ziplining down the canyon. The highest jump was from ~5 m and it was great fun! This was a very dry period in July, but there was still enough water to make it exciting.
Bring lots of water if it's warm and be prepared to start by a moderately strenous hike up for 45 min, wearing bathing clothes and carrying the wetsuits, helmets etc in water-resistant backpacks.

We could Not make it on time, called before to notify but lost All our money. No possibility to rescedule. 140€ for 0 experience

As a lot of people want to do Canyoning during this period.
We keeps seats only for the people who booked, so the guide expected you for this session. And we refused people to save your 2 places.
A Guide supervises only 12 persons.
As it was an unexpected lateness we cannot cancel and reschedule your registration at the last moment, just before your Canyoning experience started.

Very exciting, beautiful but strenuous

I loved the overall experience and it was truly beautiful, exciting and something unique to experience. It was more strenuous than I anticipated going up the canyon based on the description. Our guide was not very encouraging for my friend and I, we are both over 60 but relatively fit, however we were slower than the others. He kept trying to talk us out of going forward. I’m glad we didn’t listen. At the end he congratulated us for making it thru the whole thing. More encouragement from him would have made it more enjoyable, however all the guests were very encouraging and helpful, even waiting for us at the end as I was very slow due to blisters on both feet from the boots they made me wear.
Overall a great experience, just know it’s a 1 1/2 hour hike uphill on rocky terrain.

The Richiusa canyon is perfect for begineers and children from 10 years. The approach walk is around 45 minutes (and more than 1 hour for less sportive people).
To explain : if the guide tried to dissuade you it was just as a precaution but we are happy to know that you had a great experience.
We hope your feet have recovered quickly from this walk and see you soon with your next visit in Corsica.
forgotten (sprained knee) poor guide

It was the zoicu-family outing next to Sagone! A first to forget 😭. To begin with, a cold (maximum) guide. From the start clearly abandoned by the guide, my mother (65 years old) had difficulty following this more than sporty start, after 500 meters he returned and saw us lagging behind, it stopped when we arrived at his levels not a word left.... preparation no verification of it going towards us (our face should not come back to him) the first jumps happened. The water walk part arrives 50m in front of my myopic mother, not going as fast as the group but it wasn't a disaster either. Several difficult times, people in the group go back for help, until they get stuck and their feet fall. He didn't come back to see people in the group, yes! When we arrived at these levels, a look of disgust, contempt....AH FOR YOU THE NEXT IT'S GOING TO BE COMPLICATED....I AM OBLIGED TO LEAVE YOU THERE....so as not to leave my mother alone it's so I who stayed with her he told us to wait for 1 hour or the way back and LEAVE THERE SHOWING THE LANDSCAPE. I don't see it, he tells me no, it's better to stay there... in short, after 1 hour of waiting, we found a way back to the base. To make it short, no call if I didn't have a call, no commercial gesture, and when I express my dissatisfaction the response always is that it's normal yes but yes but. Probably the guide had a bad day but I would have liked not to start from the fact that his ASS hurt that day....
