Mont Saint Baudille is a natural boundary between the Hérault valley and the Larzac causses. At the top, you can enjoy an extraordinary panorama with a view of the most emblematic mountains of the region, including Hortus and Pic Saint Loup. You will also be able to see Mont Ventoux and Canigou in good weather.

The Navacelles cirque, considered the geological jewel of the region, offers an exceptional spectacle from the Baume Auriol belvedere. Come and admire the green nature that makes it up, contrasting with the gray walls of the cirque.

Come have a picnic in the middle of the Causses and the Cévennes (packed lunch not included) and discover another point of view over the canyon of the Navacelles cirque. The Moulin de la Foux is spanned by the Vis river with its translucent waters. The mills on this site date from the 17th century and shelter the resurgence of the Foux. A very pleasant walk of 30 minutes there and 30 minutes return will be necessary to get to this place imbued with natural beauty.

Magical visit to the Cirque de Navecelles

David's tour of the Cirque de Navecelles was absolutely spectacular and a huge highlight for our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 9, 11 and 13). It was the perfect combination of activities, including breathtaking views, exploring a medieval village, swimming in the rock pools and a scenic hike to the incredible mills of the Foux and their crystal clear waters. David was an amazing guide with great knowledge of the area which he generously shared with our small group. Our whole family loved this tour and highly recommend it to others visiting the Montpellier region. Thanks for having us David!

Thank you for your feedback, as families often hesitate before booking because they have old-fashioned visits in mind. But it's true that with the natural sites around Montpellier, the children normally have a great day out too, in any case I do my best.

Our tour guide David was well versed in his subject matter. There were some amazing sights. This tour is not for those with restricted walking skills - the terrain is quite slippery in parts and with uneven surfaces. David kept us well informed of what standard to expect at each site.

Thank you very much for your feedback on the excursion to the cirque de Navacelles. The first part of the circuit is accessible to all, but it's true that the short hike to see the moulins de la Foux requires a 1/2 hour walk out and 1/2 hour uphill on the way back. And there are also walks from time to time. But as you say, you can wait a while by the waterfall or in a café in season.

It was a wonderful trip and David.the guide.has made it for me only.There were wonderful lonly landscapes ,fotostops on different sides of the cirque and on a high mountain with a beautiful view ,waterfalls and also a hike to a mill
