Very nice trip from Nice to Villefranche.
A quick look at Villefranche then up on the hill for winetasting with focaccia, cheese and tapenade. Sunset included.

An afternoon with true locals

I was looking for a tour which wasn’t ‘touristy’ when I met Antione and Paul from 4x4 City tours.
I grew up driving vintage Land Rover Defenders in Southern Africa and was delighted to join the sunset tour taking in the sights of Nice and Villefranche-sur-Mer in the beautifully restored Defender.
Paul, our driver, played DJ with a soundtrack of chilled music as we weaved our way along the coastline as the sun set over the Côte d’Azur.
Upon arrival at Mt Boron we greeted by Antoine who had set up a sunset picnic complete with homemade salami, locally grown olives and local cheese and wine.
This is a tour for anyone wanting a trip which is undeniably ‘cool’.

Was very nice and I can recommend it. Friendly and fun. Greta view over Nice. The only remark that I have is that France has very good baguettes and it was a pity that the aperitifs that we received had bread but it could have been much better with a fresh baguette instead. Otherwise everything was very good.

Amazing wine tasting with great guides! Both were good fun and very knowledgable. Views were incredible and wine and snacks were delicious! Worth doing for sure!
