Great but mark meeting point more clearly

Lilette_D, Dec 2024

Our son found this bike tour on Viator which he has used many times in the U.S. and we very much enjoyed seeing Strasbourg this way. Our guide was really nice and knowledgable. My only criticism was the meeting place. The Viator App indicated Place d'Austerlitz #24 but the 2 other people on the tour and the guide were in front on #10 so we were really confused and walked around in circles with the app directions. Apparently the reference to #10 was on the Cyclorama website and not through the Viator App so this should be clear, especially if the group is small, like ours was, and not clearly marked. I called the phone number on the App but was only able to leave a message and got no answer. Thankfully, after walking around the square a few times, we saw some people and I asked if they were on the bike tour. They said they were waiting for us so we started late but it worked out!

Excellent tour

We were a group of three tourists and our guide. It was really a great tour, her explanations were interesting and to the point, I never felt overloaded or floated with info. The tour provided an overview about the cities history from the middle ages to the present and focused on the “island” (old district), Neustadt, Park Orangerie, and the Euro-district. For people who are short on time, but would get an overview about the history of Strasbourg, I really recommend that.

Great tour and nice bike ride to boot

Great tour. She was very informative!

Showed us the German-vs-French architectural influences

Learned a lot about Strasbourg and we knew nothing

And more

Most tours get long… this one did not

I don’t remember her ever telling us her name so I can’t put that in here

This is by far the best way to see Strasbourg

This is by far the best way to see Strasbourg. We went on bike through the German part of town, visited the university and then went on to the beautifull Centre. And of course ended in Petit France. Our guide knew everything about Strassbourg and more.

A must-do in Strasbourg

Strasbourg is a great city to do a bike tour in, as it was flat and had bike lanes. The bike I had was great. Highly recommend!
