Meet your guide and small group just outside the gleaming golden gates of Versailles for an incredible start to your day. Of all the 2,300 rooms in the Palace of Versailles, the most famous has to be the 240-foot long Galerie des Glaces. This hall has 357 mirrors to be exact, a true sight for sore eyes. Throughout the centuries, it was used for more than just vanity. witnessing many prominent historical events. Continue to visit the 18th century Royal Chapel. Modeled on both Ancient and Gothic designs, the Royal Chapel is best known for its colorful ceiling paintings and its historic organ. This tour was absolutely a dream come true for me! Liv Tours and our guide, Grigor truly helped make this experience one I will remember forever!
Touring in a small group allowed us to hear our guide easily. We also had special access to rooms in the palace that would not have been seen without this tour. It made us feel like a VIP!
Not only was this tour AMAZING, but our guide, Grigor, took it to another level! He was engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor! He had so many interesting anecdotes about the people who lived there, had answers to all our questions, and was so patient waiting for us to take pictures! He made this tour one of the best I’ve ever been a part of!
