Absolutely brilliant, a must visit!

jessw202, Nov 2024

We did truffle hunting and it was so good we did grape stomping the same day! An absolute must. Johann is excellent and just made this an experience not to forget. If you’re in the area you must do this!

Must do trip

What a great experience. So much fun from the start to the end. I can’t believe how inexpensive this tour is for all that’s included. Don’t miss this

Really enjoyable experience

We had a great time there. Grapes were delicious. Lots of wine and food and fun. Must di this experience if you are around in that area.

Brilliant time... it won’t disappoint

Johann was a brilliant host. Can not fault him or the time spent on his land at all. What a lovely guy, full of fun and humour.

I’ve always wanted to wine stomp and whilst we’ve been visiting a different country every month for past couple years taking part in food and drink tours this was first time I’d ever done wine stomping.

Most of our drinking tours have been educational and sometimes rather snobby. We are just regular people that love to eat and drink around any place we are in.

Johann welcomed us as though we were long lost pals, entertained us, fed and watered us until we couldn’t drink anymore. Which is quite a task as we can literally eat and drink anything put in front of us. I don’t want to say too much about the activities as don’t want to spoil it if you like surprises but all was positive and fun. The whole group made up of several different nationalities had a great time. There’s other activities you could do here like truffle hunting but we’d already done that in Tuscany and had I known of the other activities we would have booked a local place to stay and done some other things with Johann. We stayed at Renaissance hotel (gorgeous) in Aix de Provence which was about 40mins in an Uber costing about €70 euros there and €100 back. We met some lovely Canadians on the day abd they stayed in a BRB place with pool etc so if anyone wants more details ask and I’ll find out for you.

Well worth going here if you like a belly laugh 😂

Grape Stomp

_trishclark, Nov 2024

My best friend and I had so much fun with our gracious hosts Johann and Lisa Pepin at Las Pastras in Cadenet. We participated in the harvesting of grapes for our grape stomp which was an unexpected addition to our adventure. We picked the grapes off the vines and gently tossed them into our wooded crates. The grapes were tossed into oak barrels and into the barrel we went with our gently washed feet. Squish, squish, squish went the grapes between our toes. We had tons of laughs.

Following the grape stomp we went across the street to their farm for wine (made from their grapes), cheese, and truffles. (The truffles were obtained through the truffle hunt adventure they offer). We sang a French drinking song as we enjoyed the wine, cheese and truffles.

This is a must do while visiting Provonce! It is SO much fun!
