Very good food. Definitely not a tourist trap. We ate there two nights in a row and you could see the locals enjoying themselves. Great wines by the glass as you would hope in Bordeaux and very good wine list. Steaks are excellent and so is the daily fish special.

The team working there are wonderful.

This was exactly what I wanted a French bistro in Bordeaux to be - rustic and classy, well dressed and suitably stiff but not arrogant waiters, with a touch of humour and being very attentive at the same time. Great food options, we had two different plat du jours, and a steak too. Mashed potato was some of the best I've ever tasted. Then wine, great, clean fresh water, great dessert plate, and an overall fantastic lunch in a great setting. Would definitely go again.

We were lucky the gentleman on the phone said there’s a table for 2 at 9pm. The dishes we ordered were delicious. My favorites were the burrata starter and the beef cheeks main dish. My partner ordered a trout starter and rib eye for main. They were yummy. For dessert, I went with was prune in Bas-Armagnac(it’s 40% alc)…. I needed the fiber to cure my traveler’s stagnation(if you know what I mean). The wait staffs were the best part of our dinner experience. They were all friendly and helpful. They seem to work well as a team.

Bordeaux has an overwhelming choice of eateries. Choosing amongst them can be tricky. Loved this restaurant. Food served with finesse, full bodied flavour and great service. The burrata salad and beef cheeks are highly recommended.

When we arrived, there were empty seats in this restaurant, but we were seated at a table near the waiter's serving area. There were plates and other things that a waiter needs in his work. They constantly took something through us and interfered. Pavlova's dessert is not as fluffy as the ballerina Pavlova and her swan, which is a meringue made from egg powder. If you want to enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, try another restaurant.
