We initially booked two nights at Les Perséides and ended up staying another two nights, it was that good!

Located in a beautiful village within sight of the Pyrénées, this Maison d’Hôtes is a gem.

What more could you ask for - a peaceful countryside location with comfortable, cosy rooms, with a view. Breakfasts and evening meals served in the small homely restaurant, where part of the dining experience was watching and interacting with the host and top-rated chef, Christophe. The food was top class and presented beautifully on an interesting assortment of plates. All the food was locally sourced, including vegetables and herbs fresh from the garden, complemented with great advice on wine too.

As an extra, Christophe’s partner, Anastasia also led yoga sessions in a simply stunning studio in the beautiful grounds of the house, which seasonally, had a pool available for guests.

We certainly want to stay again as it provided the oasis of cosy luxury we needed.

If you ever want to dive into a magazine page with a restaurant this is it. Amazing from start to finish. Excellent food and great ambiance. It’s like I’ve died and gone to heaven. Wine recommendation was on point and the two doggies running around completed the whole magazine experience. I don’t want to say more because it’s such a gem. I want to keep this secret place all to myself. Menu changes according to chef but I think I can trust him. Thank you Chef Christof !

We were delighted with our lunch. Very good meal prepared on site in front of us by the chef. We liked the concept of the kitchen (very beautiful by the way) in the room with the dining space. The cuisine is excellent, original. Former starred chef, we had a great time. Thank you for this good time.

“Aux Perseides”, at Christophe Dufau and Diana? ??

Keen eye and friendly welcome, without fuss. Then the house dog validates the entry...

Here the gourmets are very happy and the neophytes discover new and bigger lips to lick! and a new address on the small sharing book.

Simple cuisine and very elaborate cuisine, this is how I will situate the great creative gap that this chef achieves.

From his piano planted in the middle of a small cozy room, the chef unfolds his score in all simplicity and conviviality through a kitchen which still shines with all the brilliance of his #experiences such as the "Bacchanales de Vence".

He certainly left his tweezers and all the stress of the "star boutiques" there, but he certainly didn't leave his talent there!!

and then... he can't be a bad guy, he plays the guitar...(bluesk'nrol?)
