We stayed in saint Remi for 8 nights and I would say it was the best home made cooking in Saint Remi.
All the dishes we’ve ordered was absolutely amazing. Especially the signature dish the anchovies were sooooooo delicious ?
It doesn’t look much fancy from outside but its own by a family and mother is cooking and daughter is serving. She was so friendly and nice. Speaks English and that was a great plus^^
They close on Tuesdays or something so make sure to check the hours~
Definitely recommend this hidden gem!!!♥️

The best restaurant of the city: good quality cooking and wines - what you expected of a French restaurant in this area. Plus good service.
Without the price level and modifications to please the majority of tourists. Locals dine here (always a good indicator).
Outside and Inside dining possible. In the evening you have a good view of the main street of the village.

A gem. Traditional and excellent French food and atmosphere. Wonderful owner and chef who has been there for many years. Step back into the past and have a local experience.

The food was excellent as was the service. The highlight for me was the Cunard with cabbage, the cabbage has to get a mention as it was fabulous and the dessert, rhubarb, not had it for many years, it was a delight.

This is a lovely traditional restaurant. The decor and the atmosphere are like stepping back in time. All in a good way. We ate a delicious meal here. The owner and staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

It was within the walls of this splendid mansion that Charles Gounod played the first bars of his opera, Mireille, to the Provençal author Frédéric Mistral, who wrote the libretto. Today, in an attractive retro-style dining room with the occasional Art Deco touch, guests can sample a culinary score inspired by the region’s finest ingredients, including outdoor Provence tomatoes, Mediterranean squid and crayfish, and lamb from Crau.

Chapeau de Paille - Bistrot Provençal
Bourvil and Piaf can be heard in the background and straw hats adorn the walls in this cheerful flea market ambience! This rustic, Provençal bistro, located on the town’s ring road, concocts a seasonal menu with an emphasis on market-fresh ingredients: pork terrine, escabeche, aïoli, rib of Camargue bull, quails flambeed in pastis…

L'Auberge de Saint-Rémy - Fanny Rey & Jonathan Wahid
Chef Fanny Rey is at the helm of this grand old Auberge located on the beltway and the old ramparts of this pretty town. She cooks up tasty market cuisine that spotlights Alpilles produce beautifully. By her side is her partner Jonathan Wahid (brother of Sylvestre), an experienced pastry chef and previous French dessert champion – he knows just how to showcase the delicious sun-drenched produce of the South, such as figs. The food is served in a designer interior: white ceiling imitating a wave, and bare stone walls.
