Lovely staff and amazing food! One bad thing: they only had one option for glass of wine and it was really bad (I couldn’t finish it). Other than that, the food was really good and the staff was explaining the culture behind it.

Overall 4 stars because I feel that biryani was a bit salty for me. Service was good. Lots of choice for an Indian food lover.

Food was incredible!! Everything had just the right amount of spice. We tried a bunch of things- samosa, shahi paneer, paneer biryani, cheese naan, and mishti dahi. We were very satisfied by the food. Paneer is very generously added to all the dishes!
The quantity is a little less compared to other Indian restaurants in Toulouse but the quality makes up for it. We found it to be expensive though.
There was a LONG wait though. So be prepared for that!

We tried their lunch menu. We had the samosas and the fried eggplant for starters. It was okay. Then we had the chicken korma and the chicken Jhalfreezi, with some cheese Nan and garlic naans. Overall it was good, but I found a lack of spices for all of the dishes. I have never tasted such of a light Indian restaurant (I don’t live in France, but I was told that this is the way here).
We spent 20€ per person for the menu with naan and drinks.

The only authentic Indian restaurant in Toulouse. I have been here multiple times and their quality has never been compromised. Service is excellent. Pani puri, Papri Chaat, Rogan Josh, Paneer Jalfrezi, Rose Lassi, tandoori Momos, gobi Manchurian, and the desserts were delightful.

This former tearoom done out in soothing cream hues boasts a brand new kitchen that opens out onto the restaurant floor – ideal for this talented chef who loves to have direct contact with his customers. In keeping with this philosophy, the service is professional and relaxed, and immediately puts you at ease. The dishes are enhanced with invigorating and refreshing seasonings – take the sea bass cooked skin on and served with a green olive sorbet and grated bottarga for saltiness.

At this small restaurant in an old building with exposed brick and pebble interior walls, diners have two options: excellent value for money at lunchtime or more elaborate cuisine in the evening with the single set menu. The new chef, who has a particular fondness for France's South-West, makes the best seasonal ingredients the focus of his set menus: grilled green asparagus, roast fillet of duckling, bluefin tuna from Saint-Jean-de-Luz etc. Attentive service.

Hortus is Latin for "garden" and indeed plants are at the heart of the cuisine of chef Clément Lessoud (former second-in-command to Ludovic Turac at the restaurant Une Table au Sud in Marseille). This creative, healthy and eco-minded cooking (ie made using organic produce and limited meat) is an ode to the South of France, from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic. His signature style is a predilection for herbaceous notes and bitterness, as found in green asparagus, bottarga, tangy pickled red onions, creamy carrot purée with bitter orange and bergamot cream, or roast turbot with artichoke.

The Naples-born chef, who used to be an engineer, has enthusiastically donned an apron (mantesino in Italian) and opened this small bistro in a street near the Église Saint-Aubin. He gives pride of place to his roots by tapping into the culinary traditions of Southern Italy, from Campania to Puglia. A far cry from stereotypical Italian fare, his no-nonsense bistro cuisine wins diners over by drawing solely on flavoursome, meticulously selected ingredients: mortadella from Bologna, hazelnuts from Piedmont, Ibaïama pork, as well as meat from Aveyron and vegetables from local growers. Uplifting!

Good value for money.
