Le Frog serves traditional French cuisine and if you get there early you do not need a reservation. In addition they are able to accommodate gluten allergies. The food is prepared with care and you really can’t go wrong. The fish and steak were excellent. The frog legs and snail were also very good. We ate there twice in Nice for a week.

Basic bistro. Food tasty but precooked. Wine good value. We both had John Dory on black rice. Chips arrived after we finished so they were returned. Desert average, Chocolate mouse nice, profiteroles covered in a shop bought chocolate sauce. Service very good for us but you could see issues with other tables.

Frog legs and Snails.

Le Frog was a good option. We ordered both. Snails were really big not like other places. The frog legs were fine.

If you wanna try those in Nice this restaurant is a good option.

Absolutely superb food especially the lamb chops and frogs legs. Extremely tender meat and delicious sauces. Set lunch very reasonably priced including wine and fantastic coffee.

The food service is quite quick, with an intimate atmosphere.

The snails were tasty, bit too much butter but delicious. Had frog legs for the first time, not familiar on how it should be prepared but I found these very soft and oily.

Great spot in Nice for authentic French food.
