Live an original olfactory experience (in english) with the discovery of the Perfume Museum After the theory, let’s practice! Attend the Flower-of-the-Year Olfactory Workshop (in english) and become the creator of your own Eau de Toilette. While visiting the Perfume Museum (tour in english), we invite you to unveil the history, the origin, the culture of this very special flower and the way it is used in perfumery. A moment of sensory and olfactory memory development with the explanation of the olfactory pyramid, the recognition of 3 blended compositions that enter into the Flower of the Year eau de toilette. During the tour, you will create and customize, following the advices of our teacher, your own Eau de Toilette (12 ml in a spray). Must do in Paris!

This experience was one of the key highlights of my trip in Paris. I learnt about the basics of perfumery, history of it and about Fragonard of course! You are also in a beautiful historical building and the team all all very knowledgeable. There is an opportunity at the end to purchase various sizes of perfumes at discounted rates!

Tour guide seemed like she was in a hurry. Spoke too fast. Class wasn’t what I was expecting. I was hoping to learn a little more about the perfume making industry.

It was a great experience for me and my daughter. We learned about perfumes - Eau de parfum, Eau de toilette and Eau de cologne. The different notes used by perfumers to create perfumes. Perfumes used during olden times and the correct ways of spraying perfumes. It was an enriching experience.

Yoshi, our instructor and museum guide was terrific. She explained each of the components that make up perfume. It was so cool getting to smell the different notes and then smelling them all put together as the actual Lilas perfume. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to make my own version of Lilas and loved learning about the history of perfume as well as how it's made, how it influenced culture, and the different perfume terms and what they meant. I'd absolutely go back and do the tour and class again, as I imagine every year has a different flower or scent. It's such a wonderful souvenir to take home!
