Stop atGrevin Museum
Paris was a busy place in the 19th century, and the public wanted to know everything that was going on. Journalist Arthur Meyer (1844-1917) came up with the idea of creating life-size, three-dimensional models of the people who made the headlines in the famous daily paper "Le Gaulois". Meyer's idea was simple: to create a place where the public could walk through a setting peopled with wax figures. It was an instant success! Discover a completely renovated Grevin Wax Museum. Experience the spirit of Paris of yesterday and today with scenes from the major events of the 20th century, French history and the latest news. See the brasserie, the theatre, artists' studios - all the legendary Parisian haunts where you will rub shoulders with the "Tout Paris" celebrities. Three hundred wax figures are waiting to meet you, to be photographed with you and be remembered forever. The Grevin's free discovery tour reveals the well-kept secrets of making wax celebrities! After meeting Louis XIV, Mozart, Jean Reno, Leonardo DiCaprio, and more, children can have fun finding out how all those wax figures are made.

Great way to spend a couple of hours in Paris with young children.

We were looking for somewhere near our accommodation to spend a couple of hours before we checked in. The museum was a pleasant surprise, perfect to spend time with young children. We are from the UK but still found many celebrities that we knew. My daughter was thrilled to see the characters from Miraculous! There were many interactive activities in the museum that were a great bonus, and interesting historical figures. In all this was a great find, however, we did feel that the tickets were expensive as a family of four. Would recommend booking a few days in advance to get the cheaper rate - we booked on the day and so had to pay more, which would be my only gripe!
Good

The museum is quite good but since it's in France a lot of the figures are of famous French people. You can get in for free with Paris Pass.
A very fine wax museum

I’ve wanted to visit here for a number of years and am glad i finally managed to see it.
Set in a beautiful building is this very entertaining wax museum. Whilst not quite at the extremely high standards of Madame Tussauds this is a very fine wax museum.
Obviously being in France there are a lot of figures connected to French culture but there are plenty of figures in the different areas that most people will recognise and enjoy.
I enjoyed the figures and exploring the elaborate building and would definitely visit again if i get the chance.
I was surprised they didn’t appear to have a chamber of horrors type area but found it interesting they had at least one historical artefact in the Jean-Paul Marat exhibit.
Time well spent

We loved seeing all the celebrities and taking pictures with them. Also loved the Parcours Photo stations.
