Imagine Tours is a not-for-profit cultural association (NOT a company nor a taxi service), in which one becomes a member if a person decides to take an excursion with us, dedicated to promote Provence and supported by the Regional Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur Government as well as the City of Avignon. We provide assistance and advice to visitors, organize or support various cultural events in the region, and equally propose personalized & cultural excursions with our volunteer guides that are designed by the visitor and that allow one to discover the true heart of greater Occitania and Provence. Our visits are all unique and adapted to each individual or groups on diverse subjects: landscapes and Heritage, Legends and Castles, Tastings at and Discoveries of the vineyards and Provençal markets, Art, literature, Crafts, Folklore and the Provençal, Occitan and Roman Cultures.

A day in Provence with Richard

We did a fair amount of research for full day tours around Avignon and were fortunate to stumble on Imagine Tours. My wife and I wanted to visit a castle, wine tasting and see the lavender fields and David was on top of it. Richard picked us up at our hotel right on time and took us to Tarascon Castle. From there, we went to Les Baux de Provence and had lunch, to a winery in Chateuneuf des Papes, to the village of Gordes, to the lavandin fields outside of the Abbey, then back to Gordes and finally back to Avignon. It was a fantastic day and we could not have picked a better guide than Richard. He was so easy going, knowledgeable, and fun! Great driver, too! We will hire him again when we come back for more than 2 nights. The prices are unbeatable also! Highly recommend!!

Richard was very knowledgable! The plan was very nice and he made alternatives as the lavender were not blooming yet. Very good experience with Imagine tours.

I highly recommend this non/profit cultural association for tours in and around Avignon and Provence. I toured with David in both 2022 and 2023. His knowledge of the history and culture of the region are unsurpassed. In addition to knowing all about the major historical sites in Arles, St Remy, Roussillon and other locations, David will show you things that you will never find in the tour guides or on your own! His love of the region is heartfelt and he strives to provide a wonderful experience for those who tour with him.

David is a tour guide extraordinaire! He knows everything in depth about all of Provence, and the history of the region as well, going back to Egyptian times. Amazing experience hitting many of the plus beau villages in Provence, as well as Arles, Camargue, Cassis, Le Saint Marie de la Mer, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Uzes, and other locations. I highly recommend this association for tours!
