Excellent tour with Eugenie (Jenny)

After missing each other at the cruise terminal, we linked up via WhatsApp and started our tour of Aix, Cassis and Marseille. Full day was spent with Eugenie (Jenny) who took us on a walking tour of Aix, scenic lookout over Cassis, booked lunch in Cassis and then back to Marseille for tour of the Palais Lonchamp (we elected this instead of the cathedral because it was a holiday and it was a great decision). Wonderful day. Eugenie is softspoken and friendly and ever a professional and kind host for our visit. A lovely day with family and friends (6 people in one van). My teen daughter especially enjoyed all the instagramable scenic spots!
Great Tour and Tour Guide

I would highly recommend this tour. We saw so many sites in one day but it did not feel rushed at all. Clem, our driver/guide was amazing - very friendly and knowledgeable. He provided great recommendations for shops and restaurants/cafes as well as a ton of interesting information and history along the way.
We are traveling as a family of 5 - me, my husband, two teenagers and my mom - and everyone enjoyed themselves. And we got back to the ship on time! Great day!!

Fabian was an excellent driver through Provence and Cassis!! He was so prompt picking us up and returning us to the port. We enjoyed getting to know him along the way!

We had an amazing day with our guide Nicolas. He was waiting for us when we got off our cruise ship. He was very personable, friendly, knowledgeable, talkative and energetic.
We enjoyed our time in Aix-En-Provence and Cassis with Nicolas. Truly a great day! Our kids enjoyed the day too. Ages 17 and 12
The tour company is great too. They texted me the night before to confirm the itinerary/pick up time and to let me know our guides name and phone number.
Good sights, bad food experience

Some great sights included in the itinerary. Given the cost of the private tour, the basilica should also be guided rather than be seen as a photo opportunity. Our time in Cassis was disappointing as we spent most of it eating. However the guides recommendation of Le Mistral was disappointing. We wish we read the low reviews before eating there.

Hello, to be able to understand more if something unusual happened during your tour we need to know more about it. At least the day of the tour and name of driver/guide and/or your name. In Cassis we usually clearly tell all clients that if they want to have a proper lunch in a nice restaurant a couple of hours might be required. Also we don't see why the basilica should have just been as a photo stop, it is really quite easy to visit it together with your driver/guide. We really need to know more to be able to help.
