Delicious Street Food

candice_g, Nov 2024

This tour is a must do. Our guides name was Virginie and not only was she very knowledgeable about the food and its origins she also took us to the food markets where we tried endless street foods and samples from vendors. Everything was delicious and we ended at a very cute restaurant where she explained the Rosé we had and why she paired it with the food we had on the tour. And when we thought it was over she surprised us with a delicious dessert which is native to the region. This tour was a 10/10

Sampling the Tastes of Cannes with an Expert

Kimberly_S, Mar 2025

The walking food tour that I took with Virginie was a highlight of my stay in Cannes. Virginie is highly knowledgeable about food and wine, with an emphasis on regional specialities that is her passion. We visited two open air markets and several purveyors, collecting a variety of items and discussing how and where production occurs and how ingredients are used in the local cuisine. Our ramble ended at an intimate wine bar where we were allowed to spread our ample acquisitions and pair them with a glass of local rose wine. Yumm! She taught me how to identify flavor notes in the wine using small bottles of scent in a collection called Le Nez du Vin (The Nose of the Wine). She made it a little guessing game and it was such fun! Note: Virginie had a budget from which our picnic items were purchased. In addition to reaping the benefit of her education and skills, I found Virginie to be an entirely charming, thoughtful guide and a great ambassador for her city. I highly recommend this experience.

Fantastic foodie tour with fabulous guide.
