I take you in a traditional boat along the canals of the Green Venice with a view of the Maillezais abbey.

Maillezais Abbey is one of the founding abbeys of the Marais Poitevin. We will wander around its ruins to understand how men settled here to develop a swamp.

Stop atOriginal Vélo Tour
After visiting the abbey, we will take the bike towards the maraichin village of Maillé and we will return by the same way in order to secure everyone on the bike. During this outward and return journey, I will offer you discovery stages.

To do absolutely to learn more about this period and about this magnificent place and all this has bike and boat! The guides are at the top, Damien is a passionate, picnic products are a delight and if you came by van with Mike you had another very pleasant time... in short, no reason to deprive yourself!

Very informative day with Damien who makes us discover this beautiful region differently. With passion and humor he traces the history of the marsh Poitevin, its gastronomy, its landscapes, its fauna and its flora. Finally, our visit ends with a refreshing and refreshing Rating at the local Brasserie la Cibulle. A rich experience that I highly recommend!

A 360° view of the Poitevin marsh: creation and history of the marsh and the Abbey of Maillezais, references to the history of France, botany, gastronomy... Damien, our guide, is inexhaustible on the subject. Beautiful day with a bucolic boat trip through the canals, a bike ride, a pleasant lunch to discover local products and a visit to a craft brewery. Perfect organization!

Cette journée comptant peu de kilomètres, même si la durée est à la journée, la partie vélo est entièrement accessible dès 8 ans et votre plus jeune s'en est très bien sortie. Bravo à elle !
