Stop atChateauneuf-du-Pape
Pick up from Avignon city center at 9:30 am. Morning: Visit of two different estates (wineries). (cellar tour, wine making explanation, wine tasting) 12:30 pm: Lunch time in a typical provencal restaurant based in Châteauneuf du Pape. (lunch is not included in the tour price. Approx 35€/pers excluding drinks). Afternoon: Private visit and wine tasting in one of the oldest wine estate of Châteauneuf du Pape. Private tasting in our old cellar situated in the heart of the village to conclude the tour. Drive back to Avignon city center at around 5:30pm.

Incredible day in Châteauneuf du Pape!

What a wonderful, wine filled day in Châteauneuf du Pape. Marlène provided a detailed history of the area and the wineries. She was very happy to share her wine knowledge and answer all of our questions. Plus lunch was amazing. Highly recommended.

Romaine was such a fantastic tour guide. His knowledge and personal relationships with most of the wine families of the area is unsurpassed. We had such a great time - with two houses and tastings before lunch, and then another bio/organic after lunch. Lunch was a delight from a restaurant that is pushing to try and get a Michelin star - with a lovely setting on top! Finished in his cave in CNdP we were able to try so many wonderful wines. HIGHLY recommend!

Romaine was both passionate and knowledgeable about the region and wines as well as other wines of France.We were introduced to three different wineries and all were of exceptional quality. We ended our tour in the cave and got to taste some other wines of France which was great. We were also able to purchase the wines we wanted from the day’s tasting there which gave us the flexibility to make our choices at the end of the day. Thank you for the wonderful tour and all your guidance for the remaining days on our trip.
