Perfect Day in Saint-Emilion

josephf105, Dec 2024

We took an all-day bike tour with Caz through the village and vineyards of Saint-Emilion. The tour was perfect in every way. Caz's passion for the region and wine was infectious and led to an incredible tour. The e-bikes were all brand new and worked perfectly, giving us a much-needed boost especially as we brought some wine back with us! We loved both vineyards he selected, and each offered a varied experience. The first vineyard was a quaint family run operation where the wine maker, Stephane, talked us through his process. We've been on many trips to Napa, Sonoma, Tuscany, and other regions having never encountered a tour as unique and intimate as this one. The lunch that he and his wife prepared was fresh and delicious. The second larger vineyard reminded us of what we have experienced on our wine trips in the US with a beautiful tasting room and well curated tour. We appreciated both. When we got back to the village, we ended the tour with a wonderful and informative tasting at a local wine merchant followed by a final glass at the bike shop. Aside from the tour, Caz offered additional recommendations for wine shops in the city, where we were staying. It was highlight of our trip to France and can't wait to come back!

Best way to see Saint-Emilion!

CorkyClaret, Dec 2024

We had taken guests to the wine chateau in Saint-Emilion several times by car, but this was the first time we booked the e-bike tour. What an incredibly fun way to see the area and taste some wines. Caz planned the perfect day and was a terrific guide, knowledgeable, interesting and a really great leader to a group of 8 of us, many of whom hadn't ridden a bike in several years! We will be taking future guests on this tour again and again.

Beyond all expectations

Amazing tour thanks to Klem!

The e-bikes were so easy to use and suitable for all abilities. The scenery on the route was so beautiful it felt like we were in a film. Klem was an absolutely fabulous guide, so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. We visited two vineyards, the first was a smaller family run vineyard and the second was a larger vineyard. Getting to see both types added to the overall experience and knowledge gained throughout the day. The food at Chateau La Rose Monturan was delicious and the owners were extremely friendly. The tour was finished with a final wine tasting at a winery store in the center of St Emilion and then a final glass of wine with Klem and the rest of the group to say goodbye. The whole experience was 100/10 and we could not recommend anymore!

Amazing trip by Caz, good bikes which allowed easy tours with excellent wines from the region. 2 different vineyards and then final tasting back in the village. All amazing!
