This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop atAix-en-Provence
Meet your english-speaking wine expert guide at 9am in front of our meeting point (centrally located close to the "Cours Mirabeau") in Aix en Provence. Your guide will drive you in a comfortable & A/C minivan accommodating up to 8 people maximum. Visit 2 wineries in the morning, get about 1h30 free time to lunch in the pretty provençal village of Lourmarin, and then visit a 3rd winery in the afternoon. Taste some reds full of character & finess, aromatic or gastronomic rosés and lively whites (about 13 different wines in total). We take you behind the scenes: From the winemaking & aging rooms to the bottling lines, you will see everything! Your guide will explain you about the soil, the climate, the grape varieties, the famous "terroir" but also the picking, pruning, green harvesting and many other subjects in a relaxed and educational way. You will be back to Aix en Provence around 4.30pm to the same place where we met at the beginning of the tour.

Unique and fun experience!

You must book this tour!!! Very intimate and special. Felt like we got a special sneak peak into wineries we would have otherwise never found. Our guide, Stephane, was a truly excellent guide, engaging everyone and explaining things in detail. He made the trip very special!!!

Holiday highlight - wine tour day

We enjoyed an amazing day on July 10th on a full day wine tour around Provence and the Luberon from Aix-en-Provence. The overall experience and 3 chateaux visited exceeded our expectations. Excellent wine tour - 5 stars!

We had an excellent day-long small group tour with Provence Wine Tours. Our guide Stefan was deeply passionate about wine, having worked in the wine industry for many years. During the day, we tasted 18+ wines at three wineries where we were given detailed explanations by the winery employees. The stop in the village of Lourmarin for lunch was also amazing. We would not have been able to do even a fraction of this on our own. Highly recommend!
