Enjoyed every minute of it!

willemvZ9243HG, Dec 2024

The boat trip was amazing, the captain Emily was really friendly and took her time to show the beautiful spots. We got plenty of time to do snorkling and we enjoyed the sunset on the sea. It is really worth the money

Great trip and excellent crew

Not a review fan but this trip was so well organised it is worth noting. The location and sites are stunning, but the captain and crew made it. They were really attentive to the needs of the passengers, making sure we all had a great experience. A good trip made great by a brilliant crew!

Do NOT book unless you speak French!

birdietam, Dec 2024

English speakers beware - this tour is 99% in French! We were extremely disappointed to find that during 5 hour boat journey, there were only occasional pre-recorded snippets about Scandola, many recordings which ended up getting cut off by the guide when he started talking again. The boat is also too big to go near the rock formations or into any of the smaller areas where we saw many smaller boats going through.

The stop over in Girolata doesn't have much to see despite restaurants and one over priced souvenir shop. There were some cows though which was fun, but the beach is covered in dried kelp and is not very nice.

I regret booking this tour instead of paying a bit more for one of the smaller boats with an English guide where we would have enjoyed and seen a lot more in half the time. Don't waste your time and money unless you speak French.

Overall pretty good, with some remarks

dennisr930, Dec 2024

Overall pretty good. Helpful and pleasant crew, great views of the mentioned highlights, fast boat. Good price/quality.

Two remarks, which were important for us personally: both the guided information and swimming/snorkeling were a bit disappointing.

We booked an English-guided tour, since our French is very limited. There was 'some' English tour information about the surroundings, but around 95% is in French. Only on a few designated spots a brief English (and Italian) recording was played through the speakers. I was sorry we missed so much info.

We also didn't get to swim and snorkeling at the beautiful Capo Rosso, like it is mentioned in the itinerary. Not sure why, because the weather was absolutely perfect (30 degrees, sunny and very calm sea), we were 'in season', and there were others swimming there. Instead we swam at a pretty generic spot with deep water (compared to the rest of the island) without any of the spectacular views above or below the water that we'd been treated to in the hours before the swim.

Again, these are personal. Overall pretty good, but I'd wish to have known these better beforehand.

Thanks!

The beautiful Corsican coast.

The boat trip on Wednesday in English was cancelled due to weather yet the weather on Thursday was the same. We actually went. on Thursday and the tour was in French only. We had 2 hours in a small village for lunch where all of the tables in the open restaurants were reserved. Therefore, no place to eat. Perhaps more information on lunch reservations or insist on bringing a picnic as 7.5 hour without food is unreasonable. Other than being unable to understand the explanations and unavailable restaurants, the sites were beautiful. It was obvious that some others on the same boat had reservations. How to know?
