Custom-made tour after our needs, bilingual
Anna_P, Nov 2024
We had an amazing time with Caroline! She really created a custom-made tour for us: a Swedish couple that wanted a mix of English and French, and she adapted the tour after our interests, questions and physics (a bit slower walking pace). The tour is very professional - she brought maps, books and pictures to show us, and she really devoted her time to us. :-) Besides all the vivid info about history, archtecture, art and traditions, she replied to all our odd questions we had about contemporary life in Aix, since one of us has lived in Aix a looong time ago - un grand MERCI pour ça Caroline, le tour était un vrai souvenir d’Aix! ♡ We are so grateful! // Anna & Anders

A great way to exercise and find out about stylish Aix

I would suggest that you book a trip on the first full day of your stay. That way you can get to know the little side streets and alleys, and it will help with your navigation for the rest of your time in Aix.
My tour guide was Caroline, she was very knowledgeable about Aix, and gave a very in depth history about the statues and buildings, and she knows a lot about Paul Cezanne.
It was great to walk around, enjoy looking at the beautiful gardens and drawing rooms at Hôtel de Caumont, which takes you back to fancy 18th century living, the decor has been frozen in time and quite stunning.
It's a great way to spend a couple of hours or so.
