Chef PJ is the best
tomers895, Dec 2024
My wife and I spent our last day in Paris taking PJ's food tour at Montmartre. We learned so much from PJ in a few short hours about the unique and fascinating Montmartre neighborhood culture. We stopped at different food stores and learned so much from PJ about the food culture in France - cheese, wine, meat, poultry, and so much more. PJ is knowledgeable and experienced and opened our eyes to many aspects we were unaware of. We finally learned how the French food culture compares to its neighboring countries.
We ended up at Chef PJ's restaurant and had a wonderful meal. We came back to the US with many seeds planted in our minds about the American food culture and what we can do to improve our household. As a foodie and amateur cook, I have cooked many French dishes since we returned. I attribute a lot of that motivation to PJ. We highly recommend the tour. Thank you, PJ! Come hungry!

I love that you took the opportunity to learn. It was a great tour because you were a great guest!
A fantastic experience and a memory you will never forget.

My husband and I were lucky enough to book chef PJ’s food tour recently.
The husband who is known for being quite grumpy, said it was the very best day he has ever had on a holiday and we have been lucky enough to have some great experiences.
PJ knows everybody it seems in the area and is obviously well loved by all. Walking around to the different businesses, he is greeted with genuine affection from everybody.
He is clearly passionate about his craft, his business and his community and to be a part of that for a few hours was a really special thing.
PJ really knows the history of the area and explains it in a way that is not only informative but also great fun. His energy and enthusiasm is infectious.
On this tour you will visit various local businesses, enjoy a delicious breakfast that will make you feel that you are in a 1950s French film (I was almost prepared to take up smoking again!) And you will eventually end up at chef PJ‘s fabulously original restaurant, Le Petit Moulin, for a delicious meal and lots of wine!
Paris is an expensive city and to entertain yourself for five hours can be pretty expensive but chef PJ’s tour is genuinely a fantastic way to spend a day and incredibly good value for money.
We had a really wonderful time and we will be visiting chef PJ any time we are in Paris.

Your personal expert.

Chef PJ was excellent. It was like having your own local expert take you around at Montemarte. He seemed to know everyone and had a kiss or a kind word for every person he ran into. He knows his stuff and is passionate about food, wine and his community. He was eager to share his wealth of knowledge and taught us so much. He was also very kind to let us rest a bit when we felt the effects of all that good food and wine. He also made several recommendations on the best places to find local delights. Would highly recommend. More than worth your time and money.

Simply the Best

This tour was a sensory feast, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. We were treated to a diverse range of culinary delights and a rich selection of wines, truly living up to the accolades. The variety and quality of the food and wine were a delightful surprise.
We began with a pastry and a coffee, just like the French. After that, we toured the area, learning about Montmartre and how to shop.
I learned more about how to read a wine label, how the poultry is raised, and what the food designations mean. This tour is a master class in the best, most entertaining sense of the word.
At PJ's restaurant, we indulged in a true culinary extravaganza. The feast included a multitude of courses, a diverse selection of wines, and a delightful array of desserts to top it all off.
The customer service is above and beyond. In addition to a suggestion for dinner the night before the tour, they made the reservations for us. We will take the Montmartre Confidential tour tonight, so wish us luck.
