In The Footsteps Normandy Tour from London July 2024

My husband and I are back from a private Normandy Battleground Tour arranged and customized by the In the Footsteps Tour Group. The Private tour Guide was Robin from In the Footsteps .
Jo from In The Footsteps helped us plan a tour leaving from London To Normandy.
What a wonderful immersion!
Our guide Robin was extremely knowledgeable and customized the tour to include my preferences.
Robin was a fount of information and able to navigate a schedule that included all of our requested sites- the beaches-specific places.

Our guide Jeremiah was knowledgeable, personable, and polite. He asked what we were most interested in seeing, and tailored our day to include what we most wanted to see. He took the time to fully explain what happened at each site we visited, and fully answered any questions we had. We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the D-day invasion.

We recently had a private tour of the Normandy beaches with Jeremy as our guide, and it was an unforgettable experience. A local from Normandy, Jeremy provided enriching historical insights and personal stories from his family's World War II experiences. His extensive knowledge of Caen and Normandy history, combined with his passion, truly brought the sites to life.
Jeremy was an excellent driver, navigating the area in a clean, comfortable van. He tailored the tour to our interests, especially engaging our teenage son who is fascinated by World War II history. Jeremy's enthusiasm made the tour enjoyable and educational.
We visited key sites such as Sainte-Mere-Eglise, Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery, and the Visitors Center, as well as the 101st Airborne Museum. We also enjoyed a delightful lunch together, adding a personal touch to the day.
Jeremy's ability to adapt the tour to our interests and his genuine passion for history made this a great experience. We highly recommend Jeremy as a tour guide for anyone visiting Normandy.
