The tour started out in a bit of a chaotic situation, The meeting place was a very large square with no definite point to meet in the app. Also it as dark with difficulty seeing people. I did not have France phone number until I arrived. My original US number did not work in France however, I salute the diligence and tenacity of our guide Emma. Wonderful young lady, bubbly, fun and informative. She found us in spite of the challenges. The tour was fun. I would recommend however, I hope Viator narrows down meeting point. This was a common issue with viator with several of our other tours.

We are sorry if you have some troubles to find easily the meeting point and rate only 4 stars due to this situtation.
For the meeting point, it's mentionned on your ticket that the tour starts at 1 place des Jacobins, in front of Armand Thierry store. We can't be more precise and we have had any problems with others customers.

This was such a wonderful tour. It was such a lovely combination of little snacks, culture and history of Lyon. I'd never thought about it before but so much history and culture and be taught through food so this really was a wonderful combination.
The food was all wonderful! We had a light lunch beforehand as we had read other reviews indicating it was more snacky than full meal style food tour and this was perfect.
Our guide Nathalie was excellent! She walked us through all of the tastings with fantastic expertise and wove it all into the story of Lyon wonderfully. Absolutely loved it.
Perfect way to spend the afternoon of our arrival day in Lyon!
