Short Tour with Plenty of Time to Explore

Great high overview of the history of the Eiffel Towel by Santiago. Quick access to the second floor and summit. Plan for 1.5 hours. Highly recommend.

I took the train, got off and followed Google maps to get to meeting point but ended up at the entrance to the tower instead. Missed the group at meeting point. it was the last lift time for the afternoon, did not want to climb the stairs, and yet, not able to get the lift to the summit. So I forfeited the tickets.
Next time I would buy direct from official site, rather wait in line than walking around looking for meeting point/office in unfamiliar big city like Paris.
It would be easier for tourists as everyone would know how to get to the monument entrances.
Worth the extra money to have priority and easier access to the Tower

The highest value to this "tour" was having guidance to the priority access for ticket lines, entrances, elevator to the 2nd stage, as well as direction to the 3rd (top) level of the Tower. Our tour guide was not very enthusiastic. He provided about 15-20 facts total on the tour. He spent less than 10 min with us on the 2nd stage, and then we were on our own.
However, it was worth the extra cost to have the above access. There were over 60 tour options when I chose this one, and frankly, it appears average value and accomplished our objectives. Being able to get to the 3rd level is subjective to weather, equipment and other things, so keep your fingers crossed that you'll be able to get up there.

Your guide was lovely, friendly and approachable however we were left as soon as we got to the second floor with not much history given.
