We first stop on the way at Castelnaudary to see the Canal du Midi « Grand Bassin » and the St Roch lock, a listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Stop atHistoric Fortified City of Carcassonne
Then we visit La Cité de Carcassonne that is known for its UNESCO World Heritage listed walled city. A medieval fortress settlement with a history that exceeds two and a half thousand years and has over 3 km of walls with 52 towers. The Cité is a beautiful and interesting place to visit. Strolling through the medieval village with its tiny and twisted alleys, the beautiful little buildings next to impressive buildings like the Basilique St-Nazaire, give you a hint of how life must have been. The inner detail-orientated arrangements transport the medieval charm and impress you at every other corner in this town. Make sure to walk with open eyes through the alleys!

The best tour experience of Carcasonne!

Incredibly knowledgeable of the region and the friendliest tour guide. Highly recommended to anyone interested in learning about the area. Willing to customize the tour to accommodate any interests. It was such a treat getting to spend the day with her, you can tell she loves what she does. Worth every penny and planning on using her services for any future tours in the region.

Poco confiable , hicimos la reserva y recibimos la confirmación, estuvimos a la hora indicada y en el punto indicado y el guia nunca apeteció, lo peor de todo es que tampoco aviso que se cancelaba. Un desastre nos hizo perder el valioso tiempo.

er dus vroeg zijn, in Carcassonne. Kerk niet overslaan. Er ‘s avonds afstand van nemen. Prachtige avondopnames te maken.... Canal de Midi zeer intensief voorbereiden; spectaculair.
