A day like no other!
Joellen_O, Dec 2024
What an incredible day! Our guide Matt was the best ever— his knowledge of the events of DDay was PhD level and he personalized it with the moving stories of individual soldiers on that day and in the days after and a wonderful binder of pictures showing what the area looked like before during and after the battle. He took us into the hedge rows where some of the most difficult moments were fought— things you would never see without a guide. The museum at Omaha beach was pretty good with a nice lunch afterwards. We went to the American cemetery at the end of the day and heard the moving story of a young Jewish soldier whose remains were just recently identified and buried in the cemetery thanks in part to Matt’s research and personal involvement. Our group of 8 Americans agreed he was the best guide we’ve ever had. Hearing Taps and watching the lowering of the flag was the icing on the cake to very special day.

Visit to the D Day beaches
peterc0hen76, Dec 2024
We spent the day at Omaha and Utah Beach and finished the tour at the American cemetery in Coleville sur Mer where we witnessed the Flag lowering and playing of taps at 5 PM – it was very moving. We also benefited from an excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable and had special insights into various aspects of D Day. It was a long day but a very worthwhile one
very informative and interesting for both history of WW2 as well as the effects it had on the region

I thought this was an excellent tour. Not being a war buff or one who thoughtbI would be interested in an all day tour in this topic, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned and understood from
this experience. Our excellent guide, Matt Keys, was able to cogently explain what happened leading up to D Day and what happened on D Day. Visiting the different sites helped me to understand the enormity of the event and the horrendous toll of life as well as the incredible victory to which it lead. He also showed us several lesser known but important anecdotes and other stories which really added to the experience. I would highly recommend a tour particularly with Matt.

Excellent full day d-day tour
maria_d, Dec 2024
I was very interested in touring Normandy and learn more about d-day. I am very pleased with my experience, our guide was phenomenal, I reached out to the company because I had forgotten his name and they replied back very quickly that his name was Thomas, he is a superb guide with a true passion for history as he has 2 degrees in history and archeology, I have a deeper understanding and empathy for all the brave men that fought for our freedom that I did not have before. Thomas was very attentive and a wonderful story teller, I especially liked seeing photos from the past in the very sights that we were in. I am very thankful and pleased that I decided to choose this company for my full day d-day tour.

Great Tour Guide

Our tour guide was Adrian and he was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the area. He was able to answer any questions we had. He took us out to several places that weren’t on the guide and they were special.
