Stop atPort-en-Bessin-Huppain
AMERICAN SECTOR OPTION This stop may be excluded if your guide estimates that there is not enough time left. Liberated on June 8th, 1944 by the 47th Royal Marines Commando during Operation Overlord, Port-en-Bessin became, as early as June 16th, the central hub of a pipeline network of approximately 120 km designed to supply the Allied armies with fuel. By the end of August 1944, this system was expanded through Operation PLUTO, which involved laying underwater pipelines between the Isle of Wight and Querqueville near Cherbourg.

Stop atOmaha Beach
AMERICAN SECTOR OPTION This stop may be excluded if your guide estimates that there is not enough time left. Omaha Beach remains one of the most iconic D-Day landing sites, holding undeniable historical importance. Here, you will stand on the very sands where thousands of American soldiers bravely landed amid intense gunfire and artillery bombardment. Your guide will share moving accounts of the challenges the soldiers faced during this fierce battle. As you walk along the beach, take a moment to honor the memorials and reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought here.

Stop atCimetiere Americain de Colleville-sur-Mer
AMERICAN SECTOR OPTION The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, perched on a cliff overlooking Omaha Beach, offers a poignant and deeply moving tribute to the fallen soldiers. As you walk among the rows of white marble crosses and Stars of David, you will be filled with a profound sense of gratitude and respect for those who sacrificed their lives for freedom. Your guide will share stories about some of the individuals laid to rest here and provide meaningful insights into the significant impact of their sacrifices on the course of history. During the low season, the cemetery closes early. Any tour starting at 4:00 PM will not be able to visit the cemetery. Please note that starting in 2026, the visit to the Omaha Cemetery cannot be guaranteed.

Stop atArromanches-les-Bains
BRITISH SECTOR OPTION Your driver will take you to Arromanches-les-Bains. It was on this beach that, during the Battle of Normandy, immediately after D-Day on June 6th, 1944, the Allies established Mulberry B, a temporary artificial harbor designed to allow the landing of heavy equipment without waiting for the capture of deep-water ports such as Le Havre or Cherbourg (Cherbourg-en-Cotentin since 2016). Although located in the center of the Gold Beach landing zone, Arromanches was spared the worst of the fighting on D-Day. To ensure the harbor could be installed and made operational as quickly as possible, the beach needed to be preserved and the surrounding communication routes kept intact. British troops therefore landed further east, between Asnelles and Ver-sur-Mer, and liberated Arromanches by land on the evening of June 6th. The harbor was put into operation on June 14th.

Stop atLongues-sur-Mer
BRITISH SECTOR OPTION The Longues-sur-Mer battery is one of the artillery batteries of the Atlantic Wall, located in the coastal commune of Longues-sur-Mer in the Calvados region. The site consisted of four long-range 150 mm naval guns, each protected by a reinforced concrete casemate, along with various installations used to operate and defend them. Situated in the Allied Normandy landing zone, between Omaha Beach and Gold Beach, the battery was subjected to intense aerial and then naval bombardment, preventing it from fully engaging on D-Day. It was captured the following day by British troops. Listed as a Historic Monument, it is in a very good state of preservation. The site is open to visitors and has become a popular stop on tours of the D-Day landing sites.

We had an amazing 2 hour D-Day sidecar tour with Remy and Thomas to Arromanches and Longues-sur-mer. Beautiful day, wind in our hair, country lanes and interesting facts about both sites. Very accommodating and well informed guides. Super memories and a unique way to tour. Thank you both! All ages and interests catered for!

Our guide Phillipe was Knowledgeable, personable and engaging. Gave us a thorough tour of Omaha Beach and the US cemetary. The hilight was the stories of just some of heroes buried there. Highly recommend. AND riding in a motorcycle and sidebar was super cool!

This was an incredible, once in a lifetime experience. At first we didn’t know how it would be but loved it so much we ended up extending as they were able to accommodate. Thomas and Phillippe really made the experience - they were so great and made sure we did what we wanted. Even the 8 year old loved this experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering this and go for the longer time!
