I booked the experience however when I turned up to the location there was no one there and it was difficult to contact the guide to confirm whether the meeting location was correct or whether the tour would be proceeding. An area of improvement for the tour and guides is to be clear with their communication prior to the event and easily contactable to ensure a better experience for future travellers. Viator were easily contactable and were able to provide me a full refund.

Exploring the backstreets of Marseille is a delight. Ignore the news and come to this lovely town. We had no problems at all on our trip.

We begin and end at the port and wind our way through the streets, eating, eating, eating, and eating.

I never would have found those places on my own. In fact even to find the market would be a challenge without a guide. Google maps is not so good on these winding streets.

And to finish with a glass of wine and a view made it the best day ever
