Be careful if you don’t speak French even if you book as English speaking event

Teresa B, Dec 2024

We booked the tour in English and when we arrived we were told that there would be a translator as everyone else was French. The translator did not speak very good English and needed Google translate most of the time and only translated occasional phrases. If we had not sat next to a lovely couple who spoke English we would have no idea what was happening or be able to participate in the games. The cheese was lovely and we did have a good evening with the games but I would be wary if you are booking as an English speaker

Hi Teresa,

I'm delighted that you enjoyed the cheese, the athmosphere, the tasting games, and had a good evening with us. We were pleased to meet you!

To all our foreign clients : rest assured that an English translator will be present at our future events.

I am usually accompanied by my business partner, who is fluent in English and handles the translation. Unfortunately, she couldn't be present this time, which was unplanned and totally exceptional. I tried my best to support you in English, but I completely understand your dissatisfaction and I am truly sorry for any inconvenience.

Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to welcoming you to a fully bilingual experience in the future.

Nathan
