Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide

I had a truly wonderful experience touring the Médoc region and visiting two wine estates in this half-day excursion from Bordeaux. Alaïs was a fantastic guide through and through - warm and friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely passionate about Bordeaux and its winemaking history. Despite the less-than-favourable rainy weather during my visit, it still turned out to be an enjoyable and memorable excursion. The tours of the châteaux were informative and the tastings that followed were delightful. The times on the road in between each visit were pleasant and fascinating - thanks to Alaïs' insightful comments. I highly recommend this tour.
Great tour of Margaux

Alais was great. We saw two Chateaux in the Margaux area: Haut-Breton and Marquis de Terme. We were very fortunate to see the grape harvest, destemming, and sorting process. As an added bonus, Alais took us to a chocolate factory with lots of free samples. Of course we purchased wine and chocolate at each stop. I neglected to take photos at the wineries but we did stop to take a photo of Chateaux Palmer - one of many beautiful Chanteaux along the way.

Alais is very knowledgeable about the area & the vineyards. The tour is perfect to capture the essence of Margaux and the area around.
