Fun way to see the Mare...
Linda_B, Dec 2024
Fun way to see the Mare neighborhood—you might not see this otherwise. And the food, of course, is wonderful.
Amazing!

Loved Antoine! He was so knowledgeable and we tried such a great variety. I loved that it was real portions - other ones we have done are small little bits
A highlight experience :)

Our guide, Sam, took us through the Marais neighborhood in the 2nd arrondissement (Paris). First off, she was an amazing guide - as an educator, I appreciated that she was able to speak to the different groups of people in our tour group in an accessible and approachable manner while situating the food culture of that area within its broader socio-historical context. Second, the stops we made were really great. The tour was organized in a way that echoed a full multi-course meal and I appreciated the opportunity to get a sense of the food landscape within this part of Paris. Third, the physical pacing of the group was great --- it can be challenging to keep a group going but not feel rushed and she did a great job of keeping the group moving (despite the sweltering temps). Was definitely a highlight our visit to Paris. :)
