    Stop atMusee de l’Orangerie

This museum is a gem and a perfect continuation of the Orsay museum visit. The collection is a perfect encapsulation of the turn of the 19th to 20th century artistic scene, featuring the very peak of French art in what is known to most as la belle epoque, the beautiful era. This museum visit presents the time, its values and ideas, and how they are all present in impressionist and post impressionist art.

Best Guide and Tour in Paris!

Mira M, Dec 2024

Boris has to be the best guide in Paris. He has an incredibly unique and engaging approach, one of the best tours I have ever taken. He has a deep knowledge and passion for what he does, which was very evident. He was able to bring the art to life with his insights and stories—truly an amazing experience.

I went with family, and he was able to keep both adults and kids engaged, making it a fantastic experience for all ages. Seeing Monet’s monumental canvases was breathtaking, and the guide’s explanations added so much depth to our understanding and appreciation.

Anyways, this is a must for anyone visiting the city. It’s a compact, insightful dive into an exciting art period. The tour was like having a personal storyteller who makes history and art come alive!

Everything I expected and more

I honestly really enjoyed this tour. 1.5 hours was the perfect amount of time to get a decent understanding of the Orangerie and its main pieces. I would definitely go back! If you are looking for a great way to get in-depth knowledge about the pieces on display, this is the tour for you!

Do not miss this tour

The guide was so knowledgeable and engaging - this tour is excellent! Even my 7 year old son asked questions and did not lose interest to the end! Orangerie is one of those Parisian places you can not miss - my sincere recommendation!

More than just an art tour

bozidarm463, Dec 2024

Yes, the museum itself is a wonder. Yes, the art is enough to keep you immersed for a long while. And yet, Boris finds a way to make the experience even more enjoyable with choice tidbits of history and spicy details behind some of the works. You will not regret going on this tour, believe me.

Depth, quality, humour and surprises!

Leighfetter, Dec 2024

Boris led a thoroughly comprehensive and thought-provoking tour, with depth that was a change from the banal and ordinary which one could easily discover oneself on Google. Instead, we were taken on a sort of artistic adventure into aesthetics, light and shade, the lives of artists, of Parisian salons, France & Europe across the centuries from Catholicism to secularism, and beyond. Where one may expect a few hours of distraction to fill up a day and tick a tourist box, one left having acquired something truly meaningful.
