I did not want to go to the Louvre but my friends who I was traveling with insisted. I am so glad I listened to them. The museum was wonderful but the tour guide completely made the experience beyond my expectations. She was so enthusiast and knew so much art history and history about the museum. She mad the entire experience one I will never forget.

How we wish we could cover so much more in that fascinating museum! One of the benefits of the highlights tour -which is about all a general guided tour could offer for collections so wide ranging in time and space - is that it afterward you can either follow your fancy wherever your nose leads or you can head directly to rooms of more specialized interest. Either way you can take the knowledge gained from the guide and carry it forward into the other works you see. Thank you for the kind words!

Great tour! Got to skip entry lines and see the highlights of the louvre. Our guide was very friendly and provided just the right amount of explanation. Would highly recommend for those who usually do not like to stay in museums for hours upon hours but want an explanation of history.
