Come and discover The Caves du Louvre and enjoy a 1 hour visit and wine tasting guided by our sommeliers. A fun activity to do with friends or family providing a memorable moment in our historic cellars. Let yourself be guided through our rooms at the Caves du Louvre by your sommelier and discover wine through your 5 senses, while tasting wine! Many topics will be discussed such as the terroir, aroma, the primary flavors, vinification, labels, cork versus screw top. A great moment of discovery or perhaps to deepen your knowledge of wine in a fun way.

The tour was really good and informative. You can challenge your smelling ability and learn about different districts. On the way you get to taste different french wine. You can get in for free with Paris Pass.
Great overview of the wines of France

Very interesting tour and tasting of the wines of France. Our guide was knowable and informative without being snobby, even when one of the tour members was trying to impress others with their "wine knowledge." Their information was helpful during the rest of our trip in ordering wine, by explaining the grapes and wine making of each region. The location is the former royal wine cellar, which made it historically interesting as well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone following their visit to the Louvre. Easy walk from the museum and very nice time.

Not only did I learn about the king’s cellar and deliveries, but also about French winemaking and the use of our senses to enjoy wine more deeply.

Irvin was an excellent tour guide and Somalia! The cellar had a really interesting history but Irvin was very knowledgeable about the region, what went into the wines themselves, and we left knowing more about how to taste wine and feeling inspired as we continued through the city! Definitely recommend!
