Do yourself a favour - or regret a missed opportunity!

ScottHal, Dec 2024

What an excellent way to experience the food, wine and history of Bordeaux. Alex was a first class guide - she was both knowledgeable and great company. Having been on a few City-break food tours, we particularly liked the concept of this tour: sample and gather food as we walked and then eat what’s been bought (by Alex) in an historic wine cave with excellent wine accompaniments. Couldn’t be more superlative about the experience and the value for money. Do yourself a favour - get booked up! We will certainly be back in Bordeaux (it’s a beautiful City!) and we’ll do it all again.

The best way to learn about history is through food

Alexandra is a masterful storyteller who happens to be equally excellent at feeding her guests. Even though we live in Bordeaux, her tour introduced us to the city's hidden gems and deepened our appreciation for its charm. We discovered so much more about Bordeaux and its history through her delightful and insightful food tour. Be warned, you will go home with a full tummy, but you'll crave for more only this time, you'll know what "best" would taste like.

What a fabulous afternoon exploring the delicious delights that Bordeaux has to offer. Alex our foodie guide was truly amazing and ensured that we had a fabulous time. Her knowledge of the best food Bordeaux has to offer was superb. She took us to out of the way little gourmet places that we may have walked past as we walked the streets of Bordeaux. Alex’s the Bordeaux Foodie tour is a must and highly recommended for anyone visiting Bordeaux.
