Old Lyon with modern twist!

It was an amazing local food and history tour. Our guide Nicholas was very knowledgeable with a great personality. We walked throughout old town Lyon learning about the food original people to the area would have eaten and how some of the places got their names and how traditions were made. Overall I would recommend this tour and if it is with Nicholas then you are set for an amazing time.

Fantastic experience. Great way to see the sights and sample an array of local establishments. Guide was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged.
History meets a tasting tour

Bruno was a fantastic guide! His stories are engaging and interesting. The places we stopped were full of personality and great choices. we were never pressured to buy anything on the tour. It was well paced and secrets were sprinkled along the way. (Things to come back to if we so desired.) I would highly recommend this tour!

Lyon specialties on tasting tour with Bruno

Bruno was our guide for this tasting tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. We visited 5 tasting stops while learning much about Lyon. Bruno catered some of the sites to our interests. The fromagerie was my favorite stop! The owner provided delicious cheese with a wine pairing. Other stops included sausages, soup, and desserts. I think the description of the tour said that lunch was included, however I would not consider anything we sampled as a lunch.
If you want to learn about Lyonnaise food and history, this is the tour for you.

Had a fantastic time. The tour guide, Nicolas, was so knowledgeable. We not only tried a lot of local food and drinks but heard a lot of the history of Lyon and how it became a gastronomical phenomenon.
Having a small group was a bonus.
We highly recommend this tour.
