We landed in Paris and immediately went to check out The Louvre and wine tasting. It was the perfect first day activity as it let us see the history of Paris while also understanding how to choose the perfect wine. Our tour guide at the Louvre was Sylvie and she was magnificent. Super knowledgeable and made the entire tour so fun! Our wine tasting expert was Charolette who took the time to answer all of our questions and provide us with an excellent cheat sheet. Overall a super enjoyable experience! Would definitely recommend this is on your list!!
Too much walking
cindy_o, Nov 2019
Walking in louve was wonderful BUT the wine and cheese part was a good 30 minute walk from museum. If I had known that is was not in museum I would not have gone. I had already spent all day walking on a sprained ankle and was in extreme pain by the end. Also I was nervous how to not get lost. I knew my way home from the love but was so far away with many turns. Our guide was helpful but when buying the ticket online it should read, at a local bar 30 minute walk. Also the guide should have a second helper to deal with people's techno problems with audio and to stay at end of line to help help keep track of the group.
Evening Louvre Tour
mrsinsko, Nov 2019
This activity was the least amount of fun out of everything we did while visiting Paris. We weren’t able to see the Mona Lisa and was not informed until just a few days before. Despite that we decided to do the tour anyway and continued to be disappointed. Our tour guide was just not interesting or entertaining. We were bored throughout the entire tour and decided to leave early. She spent way too much time standing and talking about one thing so overall all we got to see a limited amount of art over the period of an hour and a half. I would definitely not recommend. Total waste of money.

Dear mrsinsko,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review about City Wonders.
We are sorry to hear that the tour wasn't as expected.
Unfortunately we haven't been able to locate your booking to see exactly what happened the day of your tour.
Overall if the Mona Lisa paining can't be seen, surely there was a venue restrictions and appropriate alternative are offered for the inconvenient.
The tour selected was the Express tour 1,5 hours, due the the Museums vastness, our tour guide wasn't able to cover all the areas in just a short time, but just the most relevant.
At the end of the tour you had the possibility to stay longer to explore more.
We would be glad if you could please contact us directly sending an email to [email protected] in order to investigate about the experience.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Kind Regards
Barbara
