Great trip with Ani
Florian_O, Dec 2024
Did a trip with Ani as our host, although it was raining the tour was absolutely pleasant.
Ani obviously knows what he's talking about and shares his compassion with joy and in a funny way.
Highly recommended!

Very professional tour with lots of interesting information and good wines!
A nice little walk in the city with some information about the city's wine related history, and then finished with a tasting where we got to know how to distinguish between different types of grapes, regions and vintages.

I travelled into France for work, being a wine lover I decided I wanted to learn some more about Bordeaux being the wine capital of the world, I’m quiet an introverted person and didn’t want to just see a vineyard. This tour offered a more niche approach to your typical wine tour, I had the pleasure of having Adrian as my tour guide and was accompanied by a lovely American couple. Started of in a very convenient location (easy to find as Adrian was holding a bright blue umbrella) he then allowed some time for the others to join, we then set off to three locations which took around 45 minutes where he explained the history of how Bordeaux became the wine capital of the world, after we finished the walking part of the tour he treated us to a local delegacy ‘ Chouamoure’ some sort of vanilla filled pastry (to die for) and then we moved onto the wine tasting. It consisted of 4 different wines, all of which were a different variety and each one paired with a different cheese, throughout the tasting session he would give us an insight about the wine itself. Very informative and knowledgeable, post the tour he sent me some recommendations to cater for a solo traveller. Concluding, thank you Adrian for a very small group you made it seem less and showed us your local knowledge and expertise of wine, I’ve walked away from this feeling more knowledgeable and made me want to return to Bordeaux as I feel I have more to see now.
