Brilliant visit to this innovative gin distillery in the Cognac region. Our guide was utterly engaging and so informative. The tour covers the history of the company, the chateau and its grounds, the proprietor’s philosophy and of course gin-making.!No expense has been spared in ensuring this state of the art business is a world leading brand and that the visitor experience is exceptional. The staff are young and so passionate about the company it’s infectious. And the man behind it all, Alexandre, is to gin what Willy Wonka is to chocolate- creative genius. The two and a half hour tour ends with a tasting of 4 gins in a gorgeous setting. Cannot help but recommend this as an amazing way to spend an afternoon.

Fabulous tour with a guide who really made it interesting and fun and who certainly knows his subject. Excellent value for money too. The tasting was really interesting with a variety of gins and tonics. The shop was beautiful and the cat very placid and friendly and I’m glad he has a spot on one of the labels.
