Olivia was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the history of each site we visited. She was very engaging in conversation and English and French skills were amazing. She made sure that my daughter could eat something at the restaurant due to her allergies. This alone was worth having her as our private guide and the rest just made it even better. We would definitely hire her again.

A Wonderful Day!

amywmorris, Dec 2024

Our last day in France could not have been better. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Olivia on our tour from Toulouse to Carcassonne. We enjoyed a fascinating stop to see a canal and locks built hundreds of years ago, a wonderful tour and tasting at a beautiful winery followed by an amazing lunch at a different winery. But the highlight of our day was the tour at Carcassonne. Olivia’s passion and knowledge were quite evident and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. I would highly recommend a tour with Olivia. She is knowledgeable, personable and simply a joy to spend the day with while exploring in the South of France!

Visiting a stunningly beautiful Medieval city was complemented by our friendly, knowledgeable and professional guide Olivia. The wine tasting was also very good.

Great outing

bluesox19, Dec 2024

My older parents and I took this tour with Olivia. She was knowledgeable and patient with us since we had to take a slower pace for my parents. Liz at the winery was interesting and helpful and the wine excellent. We chose a smaller winery to tour. Carcassonne was fascinating. I would love to go back and spend more time there.

Educational tour in Roman architecture and wine production

Stephen B, Dec 2024

My wife and I were looking forward for a day in the medieval walled city of Carcassonne and a tour of a vineyard in Caux-et-Sauzens. Olivia, our guide, who spoke perfect English, ensured that everything went as planned whilst her explanations were very informative. The trip from Toulouse to the City of Carcassone was worth it given the City's unique architecture, size of the city and the fact that it is well preserved. Meanwhile, our afternoon at Chateau Caux was equally interesting. The vineyard management explained at great length the process of wine production from the harvest time till the time the wine is bottled. We had the unique experience to walk amongst the vines and also join in the harvest. A truly enjoyable experience. Last but not least we also visited the Canal du Midi, a must because of the picturesque views of the canal and the countryside.
