This is to me the most interesting art museum in Paris, aside from Rodin! It should be easier to get tickets!

Claude P, Dec 2024

The authoritative impressionist exhibition! Please make it easier to get tickets. Once i have them I appreciate the way entry is conducted

Best art in Paris

Margaret G, Dec 2024

Although there are plenty of important works of art in this converted train station, I especially liked the decorative arts section with paintings, product art, and furnishings from the Art Nouveau period. It was much less crowded than the area focusing on impressionist painting too. A special exhibition of pastels was well with catching before it leaves. The museum itself is a work of art!

Protestors made it bad

Flyfisherbill, Dec 2024

We should have gotten skip the line ticket. Long wait, big crowds, Inside the museum protestors from cdg labor union made lots of noise..also inside, very long line to see Manet and Degas exhibit while being assaulted with a cacophony of drums, whistles and shouts made it a bad experience. Suggest early am or late afternoon visit on a day when there are no protestors.

Overall a nice experience

nedk123, Dec 2024

Nice museum that is not that big which allows you to take your time while viewing a considerable amount of art pieces and enjoying them.

The audio guide was quite good in my opinion. Not every art piece has audio guide available on it though which was a shame.

I do consider the ticket price a bit too high compared to other famous museums.

Magnificent

This museum is world class and the exhibit of Manet and Degas was a welcome addition! The architecture of the Musee d’orsay alone was exquisite.
