We went for a full day of canyoning (9-15 hr) on the Furon River and had an excellent time. Romain our guide led us through numerous jumps, slides, abseiling from waterfalls etc., which was challenging but never felt unsafe. It was our third canyoning trip and definitely the best so far!

The furon canyon was by car 1 hour from Lyon. The very first minutes where you see your first waterfall and what you'll have to do with it might make you think "Ok...maybe I better go home NOW". But once you got over yourself and tried going down that rope and jumping from that wall you are going to be proud and happy that you didnt leave. The guides know hat they do they will not put you in a dangerous position. The track is very beautiful! Just keep on moving all the time as the water is quite cold after a while. My friends and I had a very impressing experience and could not stop smiling for propably 2 hours. But we are also a bit adventurous...maybe not all my friends would have reacted like that. Well, I would like to do that again!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful canyon with us and creating unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this trip to anyone searching for a unique adventure. The canyon is beautiful and scenery magical. Our guide Romain was great, courteous, kind, and caring. He took a good care of us, explained or demonstrated how to tackle every obstacle safely. For the first timers, like us, it was at first a bit intimidating as we didn’t know what to expect but as we went along we got more confident. It surpassed our expectations.

We will do it again anytime and will recommend to friends.
