We had an absolutely delightful time with Gina who met us at the Avignon market door before we reviewed what to cook. Meat options were decided and then we shopped.

Gina not only provides a cooking class but also gave us insight into the area and the local food. Our lunch of white asparagus with a beetroot sauce was followed by duck leg with braised vegetables and a gorgeous piquant orange sauce and then local strawberries along with a very nice savignon. All served on Gina's beautiful rooftop terrace looking at the Palais des Popes. Truly memorable!

What an exceptional morning we had with Gina. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed following her through Les Halles, searching for the ingredients for our perfect lunch. From the moment the cleaver came down to cut our protein (!) to the last pour of wine on her charming rooftop garden, our experience couldn't have been more memorable. Gina is very knowledgeable and we truly enjoyed how she personalized the experience with anecdotes about her life in Avignon (and other amazing places). Her apartment, tucked away in an ancient building, was a feast for the eyes. As we dined in the shadow of the Palais de Papes, we felt like the experience of this class was one of the highlights of our 25 day trip to France.

Gina was the perfect host and an exceptional cook. Our lunchtime meal on her patio overlooking the Palais des Papes was our trip highlight. We highly recommend her class.
