Impactful Tour
Andrea_B, Sep 2024
Ann Sophie, our guide, was very knowledgeable and could answer our questions easily. We loved visiting each of the cemeteries and Pointe du Hoc was amazing, but viewing and then walking on Omaha Beach and trying to picture what those young men may have experienced on D-Day was very impactful. Our picnic lunch was lovely, although it would have been nice to have a designated seating area to sit and eat vs a point in the general direction to find somewhere on our own to eat. We traveled with our four elderly parents (with mobility issues), and sitting on steps to eat without a table wasn't ideal for them...but was fine for me and my husband.
Great tour and a great guide!

The tour guide (Bert) was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. He made a special effort to answer all the questions and had real empathy for some of the stories of the service members. Well done!
Great excursion!

Bertrand was an excellent guide, and the driver did an amazing job on narrow roads. We never felt rushed but still packed in many sights.

A Must See if You are in Normandy
Donita_S, Sep 2024
Our guide Eloise, was very knowledgeable and shared detailed information about Normandy without any notes. The sandwich lunch was lovely. Seeing the American Cemetery in person, hearing the National Anthem and Taps played as we walked amongst the cemetery was one of the most moving experiences of my life. You cannot understand the sacrifice until you see white marble crosses and stars of David stretching as far as your eye can see. I will also say that the service we received on our three Viator excursions was much better than any of our cruise ship sponsored excursions. I would use Viator again without hesitation.

Dear Donita,
Thank you for sharing your heartfelt experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that Eloise's extensive knowledge and detailed explanations made your visit to Normandy so impactful, especially without the use of notes. It’s clear that the visit to the American Cemetery left a profound impression, and we’re honored to have been part of such a meaningful moment for you. The image of the white marble crosses and Stars of David stretching endlessly is indeed a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you again in the future.
