The visit to the Louvre...

The visit to the Louvre was very successful as we did not queue and the cruise on the Seine gives a great view of all the Paris landmarks.

Arriving on time, we were shown through without hassle. Our one problem was the audio part of the tour. We stood in line to collect our audio machines but were told these were an extra charge of 6 euros and our tour price didn't include the machine. We decided to go without and enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately the size of the louvre made us cut the visit shorter than we'd hoped
Do not use QUALIUM as a tour provider.

The tour operator was QUALIUM, and I would never book another tour with them. I understood this was a guided tour, but the method of obtaining tickets and the meeting place was vague. I sent an email to them requesting information and they never responded. Viator let me know I was supposed to get an email 48 hours in advance of the tour with all of the information I needed. I did not receive it, and I tried contacting QUALIUM, but they never answered the phone or responded to my email. I called Viator, and they contacted QUALIUM, I finally received an email from QUALIUM the next day stating the tickets were attached and with a link to a digital tour guide. In fact, the tickets were not attached and only 3 of the 4 codes for the digital guide links worked. I contacted Viator again, and they were able to contact QUALIUM. We ultimately received our tickets about 10PM the evening before our tour, but we never received the 4th workable code for the digital guide. We found that the digital audio guide was absolutely worthless, and we just toured the Louvre on our own. The cost of the tour was definitely not worth what we paid, and not once did QUALIUM directly contact us without Viator’s intervention. We have booked several tours with Viator and will continue to do so, but never with QUALIUM as a tour provider.
Ripped Off!

It is the most considerable ripoff experience I have ever had!
1. We waited in line in the rain for 30 minutes to enter the museum- (there is no skip-the-line option FYI)
2. The audible tour would not download even while connected to the hotel's wifi
3. The tickets did not come through email initially, as Viator was not allowing attachments to come through their system. I had to call Viator and had the passes sent through another email
Do not waste your time or energy buying this package!

The 4 pm ticket I was sold to enter the Louvre was no good as the museum closed at 5:30 pm. I also bought this ticket several months in advance to prepare for my tours. You sent me my ticket on March 28 when my trip to the Louvre was on March 29. Viator should have been aware that sending important information so late is not efficient. PS. I bought a ticket for 22 euros the following morning and saw the Louvre exhibits.
Every other Viator vendor communicated with me in advance, so I could do my research while in the US. You were the only Viator vendor that waited until the last moment.
Kindly be aware that as tourists we are unfamiliar with the city's language and layout and it takes us much more time to reach our destinations. even with help. The River Cruise is on the other side of Paris and you have to get there by metro and a long walk. It was humanly impossible to do it on the same day.
PS. I also bought a riverboat cruise ticket for 18 euros.
