Paris Musee d'Orsay PRIVATE TOUR with a Local Private Guide

We were happily surprised when we arrived at our tour and discovered that Anna, our guide from the previous day’s tour of the Louvre, would once again be guiding us through another Paris landmark. We are so grateful for her ability to lead you through a lot of art in a short period of time while keeping it all engaging and fun! We left feeling like we saw the most interesting and important works without spending a lot of time trying to navigate all of the artwork on our own. The historical context she brings to the creation of and initial displays of each piece really helps illustrate the importance each work had (or didn’t have!) at its time. You will not regret booking with her!

(This review is regarding a With Local tour within the Musee de'Orsay, only. ) If it's your first visit and you don't have all day, a guide is the way to go! Super friendly and knowledgeable, Hugo guided us expertly into and through the Musee de'Orsay. There are a lot of people and a lot of art to view, so having a guide took the guesswork out of figuring out what pieces to see and navigating to them. We thoroughly enjoyed the meaningful discussions about the pieces, the artists, and what influenced them.

Fernanda took us on a fantastic and very memorable trip around the Musee D'Orsay. The tour was tremendously well organised and was both very informative and accessible. Fernanda has amazing knowledge and was very good at communicating that to us. My teenage children (not the easiest audience in the world) were really enthralled and both very much enjoyed the tour. It was genuinely fascinating. Fernanda herself is a very charming and kind person who really couldn't do enough to accomodate us. I always find these tours are made not only by what the guide knows but how good a company they are generally as you walk around, and we all really enjoyed Fernanda's company.

Julien was fantastic- great sense of him, really engaging and interactive. Gave great insights behind the artworks which gave excellent context. Very generous with his time and knowledge. Highly recommended!!!
