Great market experience
Tekbora, Aug 2024
A great introduction to the market. Our guide, Teana was well informed & shared interesting & useful facts about living in France, the market, the stalls & the food. Would thoroughly recommend.
Amazing tour and guide!

Teana was amazing! Meeting and touring was so easy and delightful. Teana created such a wonderful experience with delicious assortments of local and traditional cheeses, meats, fruits, pastries and wines. My wife and I had the best time and it was a total highlight of our trip!

This tour is a must when visiting Toulouse! Teana is an absolute gem - my husband and I had so much fun learning about Toulouse and the France region, sampling local and traditional delights, and having an intimate tour really allowed us to branch out and meet some other amazing travelers! We had such a great time - this tour will always be a highlight of our trip! Thank you Teana and team for this incredible experience!

Amazing Tour - A Must Do in Toulouse
Asemler33, Aug 2024
This is an absolutely marvelous tour in English that goes far beyond tasting delicious food. My family and I highly recommend it! It is NOT TO BE MISSED while you’re in Toulouse!
In this tour, Jessica, the founder of Taste of Toulouse, guides you through the market, sharing her expertise on selecting baguettes, cheeses, meats, fruits, desserts, and more. The experience begins with tasting a baguette and a "chocolatine" (the Toulousian term for “pain au chocolat”).
Then, you shop for the ingredients needed to create a beautiful charcuterie board. Finally, the group gathers around a table, where Jessica artfully arranges the selections, which are enjoyed together with a rosé and red wine.
One other aspect that makes the tour interesting is that Jessica is selecting most of the food as you go - only a couple of items were pre-ordered or pre-selected. This means each tour offers a unique experience, and the foods and cheeses available will vary throughout the year based on what is in season.
Throughout the experience, Jessica also shares a wealth of interesting cultural and historical information with you - everything from why the Victor Hugo market is on the ground floor of a parking garage to “Le Meillure” title hard-earned by many artisans in France.
My family and I were part of a small group of 6, which is an ideal size for the experience. We got to experience the tour with other travelers from around the world, but yet the group was still small enough that we could connect with Jessica, hear everything she was saying, and ask questions.
